Everyone who comes to the streets of Tbilisi will certainly feel the spirit of ancient history. During our walk, we will visit the bridge of Peace, walk along the street of Chardin, visit the area of natural sulfur ban-Abanotubani. We will also take the cable car up to the defensive fortress of Narikala, which locals call the heart and soul of Tbilisi. The exact date of its construction is unknown, but there is evidence that it already existed in the IV century, which means that it was built even before the city itself was formed. For all the time of its existence, no one managed to take the fortress by storm.

3 Day: Mtskheta-Jvari-Gudauri

Jvari-Georgian monastery and temple of the first half of the VII century. It is located on the top of a mountain at the confluence of the Kura and Aragvi near Mtskheta — where, according to historical sources, the Holy equal-to-the-apostles Nina erected a cross. The first world heritage monument in Georgia (since 1994).

6 Day: Gergeti-Ananuri fortress

This temple was built in the XIV century, but almost nothing is known about its history. Ananuri fortress is a medieval defensive fortress on the Georgian Military road, located 64 km from Tbilisi. It was built on the picturesque Bank of the Zhinvali reservoir, at the place where the Aragvi river flows into it.. The fortress appeared in the XVI century and for the next two centuries served as the Northern Outpost of the defense of Transcaucasia, blocking the road leading from the Daryalsky gorge
