USEFUL INFORMATION

As we hope that after finding out more about Armenia you decided to pay a visit to this incredible land, we would like to give you a few tips on what nuances you should take into consideration before planning your trip!

Passport and Visa Requirements:

If you are a citizen of one of the countries listed below, you do not need to obtain a Visa!

Even in the case if your country is not listed above, obtaining a visa is not a hard process. A visitor visa can be issued for a variety of purposes, including a tourist one. The visa can be obtained for single or multiple entries for up to 21 days.

Take a note. If you are a citizen of one of the following countries should apply for a visa by an invitation only.

Accommodation:

Armenia has flexible accommodation options as well. Whether you are looking for a fancy hotel or an affordable apartment, this country has the best options to offer! Interestingly, you will be able to find your perfect options starting only from 7 USD.

Transportation:

Along with other benefits, Armenia has flexible transportation costs and a variety of options as well. Traveling by taxi, for example, is not that expensive. The price per kilometer is 100 AMD (0.21 USD). Thus, the average price of a taxi ride within the territory of the city center would be 600-700 AMD (1.23-1.44 USD). Moreover, there are many apps for ordering a taxi, which will make the process even easier!

If you are keen to travel throughout the city even more quickly, the Armenian underground subway system is for you! The cost is only 100 AMD (0.21 USD) with access to 10 stations. Buses and vans (locally called marshrutkas) also cost only 100 AMD (0.21 USD) and are considered as one of the most common transportations used to travel both within the city center and from town to town.

As you are about to visit a country with the most friendly and caring people in the world, who are always open to finding out more about different cultures and nations, it would be very flattering for them if you could show off your Armenian-speaking skills! Here are a few words that would help you both leave a good impression on locals and make your arriving process even easier!
