Tbilisi: The history of this amazing city goes back to the V century, when the Georgian king VakhtangGorgasali ordered to build a city in the center of a fertile valley that lies snugly between two Caucasian ridges. It comes from the word “Tbilisi” – warm. Modern Tbilisi is one of the safest cities in Europe and is often among the most popular new destinations due to Georgia’s growing tourism industry. Historically, Tbilisi has been home to people of various cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds, although the vast majority are Eastern Orthodox Christians.
