Bagrat Temple- the greatest cultural and architectural monument in Georgia, was constructed in the 10th – 11th centuries during the reign of Bagrat III, a Georgian ruler (975-1014), the progenitor of the Bagrationi princes. In 1994 the Bagrat Temple Revival Fund was established in Kutaisi . Today the temple is in the list of the world-significant historical and cultural monuments of UNESCO.
The Monastery of Gelati is a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgia, a period of political strength and economic growth between the 11th and 13th centuries. It is characterized by the facades of smoothly hewn large blocks, balanced proportions and blind arches for exterior decoration. The Gelati monastery, one of the largest medieval Orthodox monasteries, was also a scientific and educational center and the Academy it housed was one of the most important cultural centers in ancient Georgia.
Motsameta Monastery is located 6 kilometers from Kutaisi. The present day church dates back to the 11th century, but historic records show that a church was constructed in this spot as early as the 8th century. Motsameta attracts many tourists with its ancient superstition: if one crawls three times under the ark and makes a wish while touching the hallows, the wish will come true.
Prometheus cave, also known as the cave of Kumistavi, is located near the Georgian town of Tskhaltubo, 20 km from Kutaisi in Imereti region, on the West of the country. The cave was discovered in 1984 and was almost immediately developed as a show cave. Kumistavi is the biggest cave in Georgia. Although only one tenth is open for tourists, it takes about an hour to explore it. Inside there are underground lakes and rivers; high humidity and a lot of bats which, however, do not bother tourists, as they fly very high.

3 Day: MARTVILI CANYON-OKATSE-KINCHXA WATERFALL
Breakfast
Martvili Canyon Natural Monument is located 45 kilometers from Kutaisi in the village Inchkhuri, near Martvili. The canyon was formed by the waters of the Abasha (Abashi) River. It is 2.4 km long, and the height of the canyon walls reaches 40 m in some places. This natural landmark attracts many tourists who want to experience the contrast between the tranquil river and the dynamic waterfalls. At the beginning, Martvili Canyon is a very quiet, deep gorge with high level of humidity, where the rocks are covered with moss and the flow of the river is so slow that it seems as if time has stopped. In the middle of the canyon suddenly appears a large 12 m waterfall, from which tons of water fall every second.
Okatse Canyon natural monument (just a few km from Kinchkha in Gordi village) with recently built high-quality tourist infrastructure – stairs, footpaths offering magnificent views to the canyon and its surroundings make a nice day out in the nature especially in spring when water levels are high and nature is blossoming with flowers all around and smell of yellow azalea and still snowed Askhi Pleatau.
Kinchkha waterfalls It is located on an altitude of 1000 meters and nature out there is amazing and refreshing.
