Ranging from food to music and wine festivals organized around the country, those events are the guarantee that throughout the whole year, both foreign visitors and locals would have an opportunity to get a bite of nice food, taste some good wine, listen to high-quality music, and get familiar with the caucasian culture.

Tbilisoba

One of the most interesting and noteworthy festivals in the country is Tbilisoba which is annually celebrated on the first weekend of October. The festival is all about showing off the diverse culture of Georgia through dance performances and traditional music. The occasion also includes theatre performances, fruit and cheese displays, and much more. Mainly centered in Old Tbilisi, but throughout the country as well, visitors get an exceptional opportunity to taste another famous thing in the country-the Georgian wine.The festival is made even more trip-worthy through art & craft exhibitions available on the city streets.

During September-October of each year, Georgians get an opportunity to celebrate two things in combination: family and wine! With a long-lasting history of wine-making, this is considered one of the most important autumn festivals in the country. After a successful harvest, Georgians spend this time of the year celebrating the occasion with their friends and family. Although this is a friends-and-family event, Georgians would let visitors come and join their initiative. All the attendees can help the family in cutting grape bunches, transferring them to wine-making clays, and, of course, sharing good wine and food with others.

Art-Gene Festival

Since 2003, Art-Gene festival is considered one of the most famous music festivals in Georgia, which celebrates musical heritage and traditions in the country, combined with contemporary music and art trends. Throughout the event that is organized in July, both tourists and locals enjoy folk music and dance performances alongside some good food and wine. One more time, Georgian people get a chance to let the world know about the priceless cultural heritage that their nation is leaving.

Black Sea Jazz Festival

Starting from 2007, July of every year is a heaven on earth for music lovers! Held in Batumi and nearby location on the Black Sea coast, the Black Sea Jazz Festival brings together both music lovers and high-quality professionals throughout the world to celebrate the importance of listening to good music. With a combination of perfect setting, weather, and general atmosphere, the festival has its unique place as one of the best festivals throughout the Caucasus. It is also noteworthy that due to its growing popularity and loyal fan base, the event now also includes music genres such as R&B, hip-hop, soul, and funk.

Mtskhetoba-Svetitskhovloba

Organized every year in October, this event not only celebrates the cultural heritage of the city Mtskheta but also shows off the historic Svetitskhoveli Cathedral which is one of the most famous and sacred places in Georgia. The event gives its attendees an opportunity to witness national dance performances, listen to good music, and observe handicraft displays throughout the streets of the city. Visitors from all over the world get familiar with the local cuisine and pick up some exceptional souvenirs that would remind them about the extraordinary trip they had.
